Once Upon a Timer Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Once Upon a Timer application. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Purpose of the app
Once Upon a Timer is a general-purpose countdown timer. It is intended for ordinary personal timekeeping and convenience.
License to use
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app in accordance with these terms and applicable law. No ownership rights in the app are transferred to you.
Device settings and notifications
Timer operation may depend on notification permission, alarm permission, audio and vibration settings, battery optimization, background activity restrictions, device manufacturer behavior, and operating system settings. You are responsible for checking that the app has the permissions and settings needed for your intended use and that your device volume is appropriate.
Not for critical uses
The app is not designed or certified for medical, emergency, safety-critical, industrial, legal-deadline, or other uses where a delayed, missed, or inaccurate alert could cause injury, loss, or damage. Do not rely on the app as your only alert or safety mechanism for such purposes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app in violation of applicable law.
- Attempt to interfere with the app's operation or security.
- Misrepresent the app as being officially connected with another person, company, or service.
- Use the app in a way that infringes the rights of others.
Intellectual property
The app's original software, name, visual design, icons, audio, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party software components remain subject to their respective licenses.
No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or that every timer alert will be delivered at an exact time on every device.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the app. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Availability and changes
The app, its features, and these terms may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
Privacy
Information about how the app handles data is available in the Once Upon a Timer Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
