Once Upon a Timer Privacy Policy

Once Upon a Timer is a simple countdown timer application. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.

Data collection and sharing

Once Upon a Timer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, accounts, or third-party tracking services.

Information stored on your device

The app may store timer-related preferences and active timer state locally on your device so that a running timer can continue accurately and your selected default duration can be remembered. This information stays on your device and is not sent to the developer or to third parties.

This local information is retained until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. The developer cannot access, retrieve, or delete this information remotely. It is stored using the device and operating system's standard app storage protections.

Permissions and device features

Once Upon a Timer may use the following device capabilities:

• Notifications, to alert you when a timer finishes.
• Alarms and reminders, to deliver a timer alert at the intended time, including when the screen is off.
• Vibration and audio controls, to make timer completion alerts noticeable.

These capabilities are used only to provide the timer functionality you request. Once Upon a Timer does not use them to collect personal information.

Children's privacy

Once Upon a Timer is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the app's functionality or data practices change. Any updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
